Abarth Announces Power and Equipment Upgrades for 595 Competizione

Abarth has introduced a new level of performance and technology to their sporting 595 Competizione range, boosting the power to 180HP and introducing a host of new standard equipment.

The new 2015 595 Competizione has a long list of standard features, including a Record Monza exhaust system, 17-inch alloy wheels with a titanium finish, Brembo brake system with red brake callipers, leather sports steering wheel, Sabelt sports seats, Xenon headlamps, rear parking sensors and aluminium pedals.

Optional extras available include leather sports seats, electric glass sunroof, Interscope audio system with four speakers. The Abarth 595 Competizione can also be customised with a range of alloy wheel designs, body colours and stripe kits.

The new 2015 595 Competizione sees an increase in power, with a 20HP boost in power over the previous offering of 160HP. With 180HP now available and a maximum 250Nm of torque at 2500 rpm, the 595 Competizione now has a 62mph acceleration time of just 6.7 seconds and will achieve a top speed of 140mph, all whilst returning 48.7 MPG fuel economy on the Combined Cycle.

One of the first of Abarth's updated 2015 Model Year cars to reach the UK, the new hatchback will be followed by a Cabriolet version that will be available to order towards the end of May. All of the 2015 Model Year range will have a new 'standard' colour as the previously used Campovolo Grey is replaced by Officina Red.

The Abarth 595 Competizione is available to order now from £19,890 OTR for the hatchback and £21,890 OTR for the Cabriolet version.
