Grand Cherokee voted in the “Top 10 cars to own” ​

The Jeep Grand Cherokee 4x4 has been named as one of the ‘Top 10 Best Cars To Own’ in a major survey from Auto Express 2016 Driver Power Survey. In addition, the Jeep brand has also been named the UK’s ‘most improved’ brand adding further proof of Jeep’s growing reputation in the UK.

The findings, from the major Survey by Auto Express, placed the Grand Cherokee ninth out of more than 150 cars sold in the UK. The survey also demonstrated how Jeep as a brand is now ranked in11th place – up dramatically from last year’s 26^th – thereby registering as the ‘best improved’ brand. Comfort, practicality, technology and ease of driving were all highly rated among UK Jeep owners.

With an overall score of 91.99%, the 250 hp 3.0-litre V6 turbo diesel Grand Cherokee clearly impressed a large number of new and existing car owners.

In March this year, the brand registered 2,597 cars – the greatest single month in UK history. Last year, Jeep achieved a hugely successfully 2015, increasing its sales by 137.2% compared to 2014, with a record-breaking 10,794, resulting in it becoming the fastest-growing car brand in the UK.

The survey results recognised that some of the Grand Cherokee’s highlights were its ‘performance, ride quality, practicality and in-car technology’. The ‘big American off-roader’ continues to score well in most other categories and owners rated the vehicle as “fun and comfortable to drive.”
