Alfa Romeo at the 2016 Geneva International Motor Show​

Alfa Romeo is set to dazzle this year at the 2016 Geneva International Motor Show with the eagerly anticipated Giulia, Giulietta, Mito and 4C Coupe and Spider owning the stage.

The most eagerly anticipated moment of the year for Alfa Romeo has arrived with the brand confirming from the 15th April it will be possible to order the all-new Giulia. In a world-wide preview guests at the Geneva Motor Show are in for a treat as they will be able to admire four versions of the new Giulia model, representing the extensive range available, made of three trim level (Giulia, Super and Quadrifoglio).

There are six new engines on offer which includes a 150 and 180 HP 2.2-litre diesel with six speed manual or eight speed automatic transmission, 200 HP 2.0-litre eight speed automatic transmission and 510 HP 2.9-litre V6 BiTurbo Petrol engine with six speed manual transmission.

The new Giulia with its unique Italian styling features a faultless sense of proportion, simplicity and premium surface quality finish, placing the driver at the centre of every journey.

Distinctive to the Giulia is its impressive lightness which results in extraordinary engine performance thanks to the ample use of ultra light materials. Not one to disappoint the new model comes with a host of innovative technical solutions with the more sophisticated features including Integrated Brake System to considerably reduce braking distance, and active suspension for exceptional comfort.

The spotlight will also shine on the new Giulietta which comes with an array of new innovations, such as a bolder sportier profile, unparalleled 120 HP 1.6-litre JTDm turbo diesel engine, and the very useful LIVE services on the Connect system.

The new Giulietta is displayed in Geneva in two versions: the high-performance 240 HP Veloce 1750 Turbo petrol version and the 120 HP Super 1.6-litre JTDm versions, both with TCT automatic transmission.

The exterior of the former is especially eye-catching, thanks to new sports bumpers with red inserts, polished anthracite finish, glass roof, Brembo braking system with red brake callipers and new 18-inch burnished alloy wheels. Similar sporty characteristics have been given inside with leather and Alcantara sports seats with red stitching and leather steering wheel.

New Mito

The new Mito will also be making a worldwide debut at the Alfa Romeo stand, with a host of restyled features, while maintaining its position as small sports car capable of winning over customers attracted to its distinctive Italian styling and technical excellence.

Visitors will observe the sportier version in the range – the 170 HP Veloce 1.4-litre MultiAir Turbo Petrol version and TCT automatic transmission which features new Sabelt sports seats with black fabric and Alcantara upholstery.

Also sharing the stage will be the enchanting Alfa Romeo 4C, in Coupe and Spider versions which have become a modern icon of the brand.

Both cars are fitted with a fierce turbocharged all-aluminium direct injection engine with dual continuous variable valve timing which results in a top speed of 160mph and a 0-62mph time of jusr 4.5 seconds. Adding further supercar spirit is the choice of ultra light materials such as carbon fibre for the shell and aluminium for the front and rear chassis.

The Alfa Romeo stand will see the likes of a 4C Spider in metallic Stromboli Grey, which features a carbon fibre roll-bar and a new titanium central dual-mode exhaust system as well as red leather sports seats and leather interiors.For the 4C Coupe visitors are able to view a three-coat Trofeo White livery with black brake callipers, titanium central dual-mode exhaust system and leather door and dashboard.
