Abarth couldn’t have got off to a better start for 2016, triumphing in the fourth edition of the “Best Cars” competition, one of the most important international consumer surveys in the automotive sector.
Readers of the automotive magazines of German Publisher “Auto Motor and Sport” in 15 countries were asked to evaluate 364 vehicles in 11 categories with two overall ranking results – one general and one for imported brands.
The Abarth 595 took first place in the imported car ranking of the Mini Car category ahead of 15 other competitors. The car also did well in the general Mini Car ranking placing third, being the only sports car to gain the podium of the 20 models in the running.
Hatchback or convertible, the Abarth 595 is available in two trim levels – Turismo and Competizione, with also a limited edition Trofeo and a Yahama Racing edition available. Three powers of the 1.4-litre T-jet engine are offered (140 HP, 160 HP and 180 HP) with two transmissions.
