The 2015 Goodwood Festival of Speed takes place this weekend and it will play host to the first stage in the unveiling of the brand new Infiniti Q30, leading up to the full reveal at the 2015 Frankfurt Motor Show later this year.
Visitors who attend the world famous festival will be able to experience the all-new Q30 up close and personal in an innovative 3D box at the Infiniti stand. The box will house a full size Q30 model and will light up selected aspects of the brand new active company car using a series of LED light displays to highlight certain details. Visitors will be able to increase how much is shown by tweeting #glimpseQ30 at the event.
On one of the walls of the box a 3.7m x 2.1m 3D screen will display the story of Infiniti's heritage and how the company has progressed over the years to the point where it is about to launch its first entry into the compact car segment. The 3D experience can be enjoyed from as far away as 25m without the need to wear 3D glasses.
The box forms part of the 'Infiniti Shapes The Future' display at Goodwood this year, home to an award-winning trio of Infiniti concept models – the QX30, Q60 and a full-size Q80 model will all be on display. It will be the first the award-winning trio will be displayed together, showcasing Infiniti's fast expanding range and exciting new brand direction.
Infiniti will also have a scale model of the Infiniti GT Vision Gran Turismo on display for PlayStation fans – the virtual race car designed specially for the Gran Turismo 6 game. Visitors will be able to drive it up the Goodwood hill on the PlayStation pods on the stand – with prizes for the best times!
“Design is at the heart of everything Infiniti does and our concept models are famous for their boldness and seductive appeal," said François Goupil De Bouille, VP for EMEA. “The opportunity to showcase our three newest concepts all together for the first time to such an influential audience is an opportunity not to be missed."
Fans of Forumula One are also expected to pay a visit to the 'Infiniti Shapes The Future' display as the Infiniti Red Bull Racing Team Principal, Christian Horner, will be hosting a Q&A session with popular Sky Sports F1 presenter 'Crofty'. The Infiniti Red Bull Formula 1 car will also be on display. To find out more about the current Infiniti range, visit our Infiniti Centre St. Albans or contact us using the buttons above.
